We specialise in Fixed Wire Reports (EICR reports). This is the testing of your buildings electrical wiring and is not to be confused with PAT testing which is different, although we provide PAT tests as well. A Fixed Wire Report is normally required every 3-5 years.

As well as Fixed Wire Testing (EICR) and PAT testing, we can also carry out fire alarm servicing, LED light installation and Emergency Light Testing.
With over 55 year's experience we have undertaken tens of thousands of tests on all types of buildings including commercial and domestic properties, hotels, hospitals, shopping centres and schools.
We can undertake full electrical testing on the supply and internal fixed wiring of any building or business ensuring compliance with regulations BS7671 (as amended) 2015 Amd 3 and IEE wiring regulations. This includes the Distribution Board all circuit breakers and associated RCBOs, the complete earthing arrangement of the installation with all cables, switches, sockets and fixtures checked for soundness and compliance.
These are the usual electrical tests performed:
• Visual inspection of the installation
• Continuity of the ring circuits
• Polarity
• Insulation resistance of conductors
• Earth loop impedance test to determine the quality of your earthing
• Testing of RCDs to check that they do trip at the correct time and current rating
• Functional switching & isolation insures switches switch the live conductor & not the Neutral.
What else do we offer?
We offer fixed equipment testing (FET) on cables, sockets, lights, etc. as well as portable appliance testing (PAT). All our team hold 17th Edition City & Guilds and 2391 (Electrical testing and inspection) qualifications as a minimum.
