About D.A. Woolgar

D.A. Woolgar was established by David Woolgar in August 1962 and was granted the status of "Approved Contractor" by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) in November 1966

The company started its first Local Authority work with Ampthill Rural District Council in 1967 and Ampthill Urban District Council in 1969. This relationship has continued to see the formation of Mid Beds District Council and the development of the Mid Beds Housing Association until the present day, taking M.D.H.A into the new millennium.

Since its inception over three and a half decades ago D.A. Woolgar has sought to give best value to all of its customers which is why we still do work for the children and grandchildren of original customers.

We have undertaken a continual programme of additional training gaining qualifications and valuable experience in the following

• Electrical Installation Testing (17th Edition requirements)
• Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical installation (17th Edition requirements)
• Inspection and Testing of Electical Equipment (P.A. Testing) (Electricity at Work regulations)
• Asbestos Awareness
• Construction (Design & Management) Regulations
• Health & Safety Awareness

All of our apprentices are J.I.B. indentured.
